Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive the success of our brand. As the Marketing Manager, you will develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate sales for our network of brick-and-mortar stores as well as associated online outlets. You will oversee all aspects of marketing, including digital campaigns, social media, content creation, brand management, budgeting and analytics. These aspects will be subject to the creation of on-going marketing strategies that will underpin a blueprint for the brand and a road map that leads the brand dynamically into the next stages of growth. Furthermore, you will be responsible for a team of individuals and liaison with external agencies, suppliers and providers to the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute marketing strategies: Plan, create, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns to achieve business goals, including brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention.
-Brand management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels, both online and offline, to maintain a strong market presence.
-Digital marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, social media, and paid advertising.
-Content creation: Collaborate with content creators to produce engaging content for blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
-Market research: Conduct research and analyse market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and optimize marketing strategies.
-Analytics & reporting: Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
-Team collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and creative teams to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and strategies.
-Budget management: Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize spending to achieve maximum ROI.
-Event planning and management: Organize and promote company events, trade shows, and product launches.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
-5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in FMCG.
-Proven experience managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
-Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media platforms.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM software, etc.).
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
-Creativity and a passion for staying ahead of marketing trends.
-Leadership and team management experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in FMCG, retail, or a related industry.
-Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
-Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mondayboards, etc.).
